I spent a pleasant time here, can recommend to anyone. Everything was perfect, including very amiable staff and wonderful location on the Main river. Location: the hotel was not far from main attractions like the Residenz and the cathedral, restaurants, trams and the tourist attractions and the central train station. Ate at Fuego und Escalera, it's within easy walking distance of the venue...

Lovely experience there. Marvellous and incredible location - minutes from a tram station. Good restaurant approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel.

wonderful stay in wurzburg. residence surpassed all expectations. central location, spacious and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast. enjoyed the popular bar with great cocktails. highly recommend for exploring this charming german town.

The bathroom is excellent, but the shower space is a bit too small.

L'hotel si trova in una zona molto tranquilla, circondata da ristoranti fantastici e la sua posizione è ottima rispetto alla fermata della metro e alla stazione JR. Le camere, anche se piccole, sono pulite e ben organizzate. Il personale è cortese e professionale. Inoltre, il prezzo è davvero conveniente.

The desk staff where friendly and helpful. The hotel is central and easy to find from train station. The breakfast was the second best I had in 6 hotels on our visit to Germany

I asked about the view from the room, but the receptionist really didn't know it. The hotel was very close to the old bridge, but don't expect seeing Marienburg from the room.

The location was particularly good and magnificent there, pretty close to the old town. And we were short walk to the centre of the city and Wurzburg.

Well, no parking.

Conveniently located close to the town center, the Hotel Residence offers comfortable beds and good showers. Despite the noise from the bar across the street, the staff was friendly and helpful. I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel.

Old and worn interior of the hotel and rooms makes it a bit shabby. Oh so dated colour scheme also makes it seem cheap even if that isn't reflected in the room price

When we checked in the young lady, who mentioned she lived in Bad Mertengheim, was extremely helpful and friendly.

Great location in the heart of the city, close to fantastic restaurants and shops. Public transport stop only a few blocks away for easy transportation. The breakfast buffet has a wide range of delicious options.

Some rooms could be warmer during the summer months as they don't have air conditioning and one had no wifi reception. Parking can be an issue as it's quite far away and relatively expensive.

Hotel refurbishment is necessary!
